I’ve been writing forever. My very first book was published in my second grade class, a short novella about how my best friend, Ginger from Gilligan’s Island, escaped the island. My first foray into fan fiction. I’ve been writing ever since. I am the co-founder of a zine called BUST, and was the co-editor until I left in 2001. I’ve co-authored a feminist anthology and a knitting book. Getting Over Max Cooper is my first work of published fiction, it came out in 2022. My next book, The History of LGBTQ+ Stand-Up Comedy and the Rise of the Queer Comedy Boom, will be out September 2027. In the meanwhile, you can see where my head is at on Substack at Karp Eh Diem.

I blogged for four years, from 2016-2020. When I sold GETTING OVER MAX COOPER, and then simultaneously went for my Masters in Women and Gender Studies, I had to set blogging aside. Oh, and neglected to pay the astronomical fees to keep it alive. And now, the site is defunct. However, I am Substacking! YAS!
And I am writing. All the time. If it’s not for work, then it’s for me, the little projects I do to keep the imagination thriving. I’m starting to put the pieces together for a rom-com book and so far, it’s super fun to dip back into adult fiction!
